Welcome to the Federation

The Federation of Foxwood & Highview School

The Federation officially came into being in November 2008 when we formed a single Governing Body.

The School Leadership Teams of both schools have been developing a joint 3 year plan to develop the ways in which collaboration will benefit the pupils of both Schools. This is being formulated alongside (and within) the BSF Strategy for Change document which was jointly produced by both schools in April 2009

We have made a huge amount of progress in assimilating the work of two different, diverse, yet highly effective schools to ensure we meet the stated aims of the Federation. Primary amongst these is the aim to continue to provide for a wide spectrum of needs within specialist provisions in partnership with mainstream colleagues to ensure Shepway education is able to meet the needs of all its pupils.
