Highview Family Liaison Officer

Hi, My name is Alicia Oakley and I am the Family Liaison Officer at Highview

My role includes supporting families with issues that affect home/school life. I try to be available at the start and end of the day to see parents and escorts and try to resolve any problems.

Including;Signposting to outside agencies that may be able to advise and assist. Attending with parents.

Following up any issues between home and school.Arranging extended school events.

Setting up personal hygiene programmes within school and keeping parents updated with progress.

Taking an active part in the PTA.Attend Social Services meetings.Liaise with transport if there are any issues.

I show prospective parents around and explain the admissions procedure.Take pupils home during the school day if necessary.

Support Mrs. Kalinsky in her role of appointed teacher for LAC pupils as well as safeguarding.
