ISIS

The role of ISIS is to promote the successful inclusion of pupils with additional and special educational needs. The team actively involved in collaboarative partnerships with mainstream schools and other agencies. The outreach role is well defined and an established network of good practice is in place across th edistrict. The service is available to all schools. ISIS also runs a comprehensive training programme at the Coast Centre, Foxwood. The programm is open to schools, other agancies and parents/carers.

The range of support offered includes;

Multi-aganecy working to enable successful outcomes for pupils, parents/carers and schoolPupil

Pupil support, group work, transition programmes and peer group days

School support, individual and school based advice, strategies, resources, bespoke training and support in developing policies

Family support, groups/training and individual consultations

ASD training for the partnerships and County

Involvement in the ASD assessment team
